Sahih International
Return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him],
Nafs Al-Mutmainnah النَّفس الْمُطمَئِنَّة
The soul which is at peace and rests in certitude. This state is achieved with perfect blending of man’s activities, whether this worldly or next-worldly, with the Laws of the Shari`ah and the Laws of Nature; so that nothing emanates from his body, mind, or heart, but that which is in harmony with the two Laws. Such a soul is not disturbed by what happens to the body or mind in the physical world. What appears as an adversity to others, is spiritual development for the person himself.
